Camping Under The Stars
The smells of the deep woods,
Climbing vines, and rushing water,
Sends new life through my being,
And refreshes my weary soul.

It's an internal connection,
That I need, crave, and appreciate.
To feel the earth beneath my feet,
And the wind blowing on my face.

Drinking water straight from the spring,
Watching wild animals quietly prance by.
It makes my heart joyfully sing.

Camping under the stars,
Gazing at the twinkling sites,
Listening to the fire crackle,
I drift into a peaceful sleep.
