Circumpolar (the constant)
I've been right about                                        there

         constant
on your horizon
whether
         you don't look for me
or just don't see
         hidden plainly
burning
in your brilliant light

Revolving, evolving
         I linger
that you might glimpse
even in the darkest hour
         moving away
         to the naked eye
a vision to behold
if just for an instant --
one circumpolar giant
minimized by vantage
         glimmering, a glint
sent pulsing
by curling obstinance
         forbidding masses
but, constant                                                  still

peering at you
in our shared twilight.
