It Started Out Terrible
It Started Out Terrible

I’m the only one who does paperwork at the beginning of my shifts during the week. That's because I'm in my old new post. When I went to work yesterday, I had a big mess to deal with that paperwork. It was such a mess I couldn’t figure out where it started. So, I started it where I think it should have been started.

I know that I was wrong with where it started. After all, it should start at 0000. But I couldn’t figure out when 000 started. That’s why I started it where I did. As I started writing my paperwork for yesterday, I mentioned why I was starting where I was starting. I also put a statement at the top of the first page about it.

Other than the paperwork, yesterday at work wasn’t as bad as it has been the last few Wednesdays. it was very, very busy yesterday. But it hasn’t as busy as it has been the last few weeks. I actually got to sit down most of the time. True, it wasn’t as much as it should have been. But it was a whole lot better than it has been lately.

Usually, it’s very, very busy during the first two hours of my shift and the last two. But that isn’t what happened yesterday. It was very busy at that time. Especially, the first couple of hours because of the paperwork problems. But it wasn’t as busy as it has been.

Don’t get me wrong. It was still very busy during those four hours. But it wasn’t almost non-stop busy like it has been. True, it was a very close second. Especially, during the first two hours. The last two weren’t that much better. But they were a little bit better.

In the middle four, I actually got to relax a little bit. I still had a lot of updating to do on the paperwork. But even that wasn’t too bad. At least not when it came to not finding what I needed to find. That meant I had to add it to the paperwork instead of updating it. That’s because I hate doing that. And I had to do that a lot yesterday.

It wasn’t as bad as I thought that it would be, though. I did have a lot of adding yesterday at work. But it wasn’t as much as I thought it was going to be. In fact, I thought that it was going to be about double what it was. If not a little bit more than that.

I also got a little bit of help in solving my main paperwork problem. And that is to identify what went with who. Yes, I know that reads confusing. And it is. But it’s the best way that I can describe it without going into too much detail. Of course, I still had some problems because not everyone wanted to corporate. but it’s a whole lot better than it used to be.

Today, I hope that it’s going to be like yesterday. Not with the terrible paperwork problems, but with how busy it will be. Compared to the last few weeks, Wednesdays have been extremely busy. And Thursdays have been about the same as Wednesdays. That’s why I hope it’s like yesterday instead of the last few Thursdays.
