Waiting
Waiting is a tough assignment.
Looking for something to happen soon.
How do you know you’re doing as meant?
Short the distance ‘tween wise and buffoon.

End of the line, we’re waiting all day.
For Hope to stay hopeful, we need a new tune.
Cloudy the sky with wisps on display.
Dark is the night without a slight moon.

O, where is the mentor, we thought was our guide?
So where is the goal, we thought of as good?
Is waiting the task to break all our pride?
Is thinking a gift or mentally wood?
