Ten But Twelve

I didn’t too good yesterday at work when it comes to the third episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. At least not as good as I have been doing on a Thursday. For the last few Thursdays, I have gotten fifteen or more single paragraphs written for this project. But yesterday I only got ten single scene paragraphs done and two Establishing Shots for a total of twelve single paragraphs.

Well, that isn’t exactly true. It was closer to fifteen yesterday too. Why am I writing that? It’s because I had to re-write a few of them more than once in the first five scenes. So, it was like I wrote about fifteen. But I didn’t. That’s because I don’t count re-writes. Unless they are from a previous day. Then I might. But this wasn’t a previous day. So, I didn’t count them.

Since I had two Establishing Shots, does that mean that I started Act Four all over again. Yes, it does. I did start Act Four again. I re-read what I have written so far. And I decided that I did need to start over again after I remembered what this Act really was about. The old way was good too. But not as good as this one.

Today, I’m going to continue to work on this project. I don’t know if I can get fifteen or more written today. But if it’s like it has been the last several Fridays, I may be after to do it. especially, if I’m at my normal post and it’s not too busy at work. Then again, that may not matter. It hasn’t the last few Fridays.
