Better Than I Thought
Better Than I Thought

In my last blog entry, I mentioned that I would be lucky if I got ten to fifteen single paragraphs written for the second episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And it would probably be closer to ten than fifteen. I was wrong about that. Not only was it closer to fifteen, but it was also fifteen.

That’s right. I got fifteen single paragraphs for the second episode Story Outline written yesterday at work. Don’t ask me how I did that many. Because I don’t know why. It took me almost five hours to do the first nine aka Act Two. I figured that if I were lucky, I would get two to four more written. Instead, I got six.

I don’t know what happened with the last three hours of my shift. All that I do know is that once I started writing I couldn’t stop. Of course, I had to stop because of work. But even that didn’t stop me that much. Which is a big surprise to me. Considering how busy it was at work yesterday.

It was extremely busy at work yesterday. One of the busiest that I have seen in a long time. If it wasn’t the busiest. Especially, in the first couple of hours. Maybe that’s why it took me so long to write the first nine paragraphs? It may be part of the reason. But I don’t think it was that bad. After all, I was inside most of the time.

If I wasn’t inside all that time. I don’t remember going outside my guard post during the first couple of hours. But I don’t think that I did. Whether I did or not doesn’t really matter that much. That might explain the first two hours. But what about the next three. And the last three.

The first two hours weren’t the only part of my shift that was busy yesterday at work. The last six hours were too. Especially, the last two hours. They weren’t as bad as the first. But they were a very close second. The only thing that was worse was how much time I spend outside my guard post. That time was extremely busy too.

I hope that today will be just as good as yesterday. not with how busy it was at work, but how many paragraphs that I get written today. I’m hoping to get another fifteen written today. But there is a very good chance I could do more than that. after all, my Tag Act coming up today. At least I think that it is.

There are only three single paragraphs left for Act Three. Then there are nine in Act Four. That’s twelve paragraphs total. So, if it’s not too busy at work today or I get lucky again, I should be getting into the Tag Act. And if I can do that, there is a very good chance I can get the Tag Act done too. If I can, it will end episode two of this project.
