So Much of Nothing Today

Unfortunately, I haven’t gotten too much written today on my short stories that I’m trying to write for this month. One of them is for a contest. The others I am writing for the Musicology Anthology Challenge. My challenge ones I don’t have to worry about just yet. But the one for this contest is. After all, I only have a couple of weeks to finish this one.

Don’t get me wrong. I have gotten a little bit of writing done on this project. But I haven’t gotten as much done as I wanted to get done. What is the usual reason why I don’t get any writing written? That’s right. It because of what my brother and I had to do today. Well, that isn’t exactly true. But it’s not false either.

What does that mean? It means that it wasn’t my brother and me today. True, my brother was a big part of it. But the main reason I haven’t gotten too much writing done is because of me today. I had somewhere that I had to go to early this morning. And I have been very busy all day because of it.

It hasn’t been a total loss today, though. I have gotten a little bit of writing done today on my Short Story contest story. But it’s only a little bit. That means I still have a long way to go. I don’t know if I will be able to get it finished with only a couple of weeks left until the end of this month. But I think that I can.

Will I continue to work on this Short Story? I want to do it. and I need to continue writing it. But there is a very good chance that I won’t. That because I have something that needs to be done tomorrow morning. I don’t think that will take all day to do it. but it may take enough of it so that I won’t get too much written tomorrow either.
