The Last Day of May

Not too much to write about today about my writing. That doesn’t mean I haven’t gotten any writing done today. Because I have gotten some done. It just wasn’t the short stories that I wanted to get written for this month. That’s because I have already finished writing them. In fact, I have already created and posted them to their contest.

I still don’t know about the two contests that I have just entered this month for next month. But I’m not too surprised about that, though. after all, they usually don’t post the new ones until the next month begins. The big question is when will they post the new ones? If I’m lucky, it will be about this time tomorrow.

Even though I don’t know about the contests that I have entering for the last few months yet, I do know about one that came out for next month about ten to fifteen days ago. That is the one that I have been working on today. So far, I haven’t gotten too much done on it yet. I have gotten some of it done, though.

So far, I have gotten the basic storyline written into a couple of paragraphs. true, they aren’t part of the story itself. But it does help me to organize it. and that is what I have done too. I have partialized it according to the prompt word or words that go along with the picture prompt. The first part of this story has also been written.

Will I continue to work on this Short Story after I finish with this blog entry? I want to continue doing it. but I probably won’t. What is the usual reason why I don’t do any more writing after a blog entry? That’s right, it’s because of a lack of sleep last night. Unfortunately, it has happened again. I didn’t get too much sleep last night.

The lack of sleep isn’t the only thing that is going to stop me from doing any more writing today. It’s the main one. But not the only reason. I have a lot to do tomorrow. And it’s going to start very early. That’s why there will be no more writing for today. Because I will probably be going to sleep soon after I post this blog entry.
