It Should Have Been at Least Two More Scenes
It Should Have Been
at Least Two More Scenes

Yesterday at work was terrible for me. The first half of my shift wasn’t too bad. Except for it being kind of busy. especially, the first couple of hours of it. That didn’t stop me from writing, though. In fact, I got four scenes written during that time. It was the second half of my shift that caused me only to write two more scenes for the first part of my Water Wars movie script.

I should have been able to write at least two more scenes during my second half of my shift yesterday at work. What is the usual reason why I can’t write more than I should have been able to write? That’s right, it’s work. And yesterday is no exception to the answer to that question. What I’m trying to write is that work is the reason why I didn’t get any more writing done yesterday.

So, what is the reason why? Except that it was work. What is the normal reason why it’s work? If your answer was Incident Reports, then you would be right. Only I had to write up two IRs yesterday at work. And both of them were about the same thing. If I didn’t have to write them up, I probably would have had time to do at least two more scenes yesterday.

It wasn’t just the IRs, though. True, a lot of it was work. After all, work was very busy during the last half of my shift. Especially, the last two hours of it. But that isn’t what I’m writing about now. it was me too. After having to write those two IRs, I didn’t feel like writing. I had to force myself to do it.

I don’t know what today will bring. What new or old thing that they will try to get me to stop writing. But whatever it is it’s not going to stop me. It may slow me down a whole lot. And it may make me not want to write. But it won’t stop me from doing it. I won’t let it.

True, I may only get four to six written today. But that’s better than none. I’m stubborn. I won’t quit. No matter what they try to do to me. A good example of that is what they started doing yesterday. Once again, I’m going to have to risk blindness to work there.
