Only One Left to Write

I didn’t get the chance to do any writing on my second Short Story for this month after I got off work the last four days. Of course, I wanted to do it. But something came up that stopped me from doing it. As a result, I didn’t think that I would get it written before today. And I knew that I would be very limited in doing it today.

Luckily, I did get the chance to work on it. Even then, I didn’t expect to get it finished before I went to sleep. Unless I spent all night working on it. Luckily, I didn’t need to do that. I got in done in about three hours. True, I haven’t done a Grammarly check on it or created and posted it yet. But I did get it done.

That means I only have one more Short Story to write for this month. If I can get it written. With less than a week away, it doesn’t look too good that I will get it done before next Saturday. Especially, if I can’t work on it after I get home from work. That’s why I need to get it written in the next couple of days during my days off from work. I think that I can do it, though.

At least I thought that I did until after today. With only a few more hours until the end of the day, I still haven’t been able to get any writing done on it. That’s how busy of a day it has been for me and my brother. It started very early this morning. And it hasn’t stopped until just before I started writing this blog entry.

I plan on writing at least a couple of sections for this story before I go to sleep tonight. But I don’t know if I will be able to do that or not. After all, I didn’t get too much sleep last night. About five hours if I’m lucky. The only difference between last night and the other night that this has happened is that I know why I couldn’t get more sleep. It was because of my second Short Story.

Tomorrow, I know that my brother and I have a few things that we need to get done. But I don’t think that it will be too much. If that’s true, then I may get a few more sections written on this third Short Story. And who knows. I may get on a writing streak again and finish it tomorrow. It has happened before. And there is no reason why it can’t happen again. I hope that this is one of those reasons.
