Shakespearean Sonnet: "Unseen, but Known"
For months and years I've hidden in a shade
a-waiting to be know by Life, again.
The preparation time is quiet made
to bring me out when truly I can win.

This growing in the shade is truly blest
to those, whose nature's are the hidden kind.
We're kept from blazing sun, and scorching test
by leaves, that make our place so hard to find.

The hosta and the fern are gentle souls,
that thrive when kept protected in their place.
The Christian in the dark comes out as gold
when purified, and dross is all erased.

So sheltered in The One, Whose loving wings
becomes my fortress, where my heart can sing.
(Psalm 91:1-2, KJV)
