Despite Another Incident Report
Despite Another Incident Report

That’s right. I had to write another Incident Report up at work yesterday. Luckily, it didn’t take me that long to write it. Not as long as it usually does. Maybe that was because there wasn’t much to write in it. Then again, it’s probably because it wasn’t that busy at work during that time.

Overall, it was still extremely busy at work yesterday. Including the time that I had to write my IR. But not as busy as it usually is when it’s that busy of a day. It was a very normal Thursday as it has been lately. Every busy. Especially, during the first and last two hours of my shift.

Only the IR didn’t happen during those times. It happened about in the middle of it. That’s why it was busier than usual. But it wasn’t that busy. If it happened during the first and last two hours of my shift, I probably wouldn’t have gotten as much writing done on the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Because it would have taken me a whole lot longer to write it.

So, how did it affect my writing yesterday at work? it didn’t. at least not that much, if any. If there was an effect, it was me and not work. I got another seven scenes written for this project. But it could have been one or two more. Not because of the IR, but because of me.

There was a couple of scenes that I wasn’t quite sure how to write. I knew what I wanted to write. But I wasn’t sure how to write them. There was a lot of erasing during that time. So, in a way, I did write one or two more scenes because of all the re-writing. But it’s the number of scenes that I get written per day that counts. And that number was seven yesterday at work.

I’m not sure what will happen to me today at work. I know that I’m going to get blamed for what happened in that IR. But that’s not usual. After all, I get blamed for anything that goes wrong at work. Even if it isn’t my shift. It’s only worse when it is my shift. Like it was yesterday.

I kind of got sidetracked in the last paragraph, didn’t I? back to what I wanted to write about. I don’t know how much writing I will get done today. But I’m hoping that it will be another seven to ten scenes. Yes, I know a lot of that depends on how busy it gets at work and what happens other than work at work. But whether it’s only a few scenes or more than ten, I’m going to get as many of them that I can write today.
