Better Than Wednesday

True, the total number of scenes that I wrote yesterday isn’t as many as Wednesday for the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Especially, since two of them were Establishing Shots. But I still consider nine scenes total a better day because of what I had to go through yesterday at work.

At first, I didn’t even think that I would get the five scenes that I needed to end Act One of this part. But after the second one, I couldn’t stop myself from getting the other seven written. I don’t know how I did it. But I did. Once I started writing those last seven, I couldn’t stop myself from writing. The only thing that did stop me was work.

There was a lot of work yesterday. And I’m not writing about who I work for. It was where I worked that was extremely busy. One of the busiest Thursdays that I have seen in a long time. If it wasn’t the busiest one. That’s how busy it was there. The first two hours and the last two were the worst. But that isn’t unusual. What wasn’t normal was the middle four hours. They were almost as busy as the other four hours. Not quite as busy. But a very close second.

Work wasn’t the only reason that I didn’t get slowed down at work working on this project. The weather was extremely bad yesterday at work. Almost from the time I got there until the end of my shift it was raining and storming. A few times it was a downpour. That’s how bad it was. Luckily, I didn’t have to go out into it too often. But I did three or four times. A couple of times I even stayed inside my guard post instead of going outside because it was during a downpour.

The only thing good about yesterday except for my writing so much was that I got to watch my television shows and movies on my cell phone. But that was only because of the weather. It was so bad that they couldn’t do any construction out in it. I hope that happens today too. Not the terrible weather, but how much writing that I get done. Especially, if I get to watch more on my cell phone.
