It Could Have Been Ten Scenes
It Could Have Been Ten Scenes

That is right. I did write nine scenes for the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And with about a half-hour left on my shift yesterday at work, I may have been able to do a tenth one. But I didn’t even try to do it because it’s usually kind of busy that last hour. Unfortunately, I was right about that too.

It was very busy all day yesterday at work. At least it was for my shift. And when it is for one shift, it’s the same as the other ones. In fact, it was one of the busiest Thursdays that I have seen in a long time. It has been very busy the last few months because it’s that time of year when it normally is. But yesterday was even busier than what I consider normal.

The construction going on at work didn’t help too much when it comes to how busy it was. But it didn’t slow me down too much either. The only thing that did was when I had to leave my guard post because of work. luckily for me, that didn’t happen too often. I did still need to do that quite a few times. But didn’t stop me from doing my writing.

I don’t know how I did it. But once I started writing I couldn’t stop myself from working on this project. True, a few of those scenes I just needed to copy. Even then, I didn’t quite copy them word for word on a lot of them. And sometimes I changed them a lot.

One of them I really messed up a lot on was actually caught and re-written on Wednesday. I just forgot to mention it on my blog yesterday. Planned on doing it, but I forgot. So, I’m doing it now. Better let than never, right? That isn’t the only thing that I forgot. I forgot a whole paragraph on one of my scenes. Instead of thirteen lines, seconds, I had only eight, or was it nine.

I’m doubtful that I will get that many scenes written today. But I didn’t think that I would get almost ten of them done yesterday. I did it, though. And there is no reason why I can’t do it again. If I can do it on a very busy Thursday, there’s no reason I can do it again on a Friday. I’m just not going to count on it happening until it does.
