A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Average for a Saturday Now Too It looks like five scenes are going to be my average for a Saturday when it comes to my episodic Water Wars scripts too. It should be a lot more than that for a Saturday. About double that or at least a lot closer to double that. If not a little bit more than that. I don’t think that’s going to happen, though. It hasn’t happened yet. And I don’t think that it will. True, I have gotten a few more than five scenes written. But that usually included two or more Establishing Shots. I may have had one or two days that I got more than five that didn’t include any Establishing Shots. Maybe even three or four days. But I don’t think that I have. I think that five is my average. Whether it’s a weekend or a weekday. If I even get that many. There have been a few times when I didn’t even get five scenes written in a day. But that hasn’t happened too often. I’m not writing about split shifts. I am referring to days that I didn’t feel like doing it for reasons other than a split shift. After all, I can understand why I didn’t with a split shift. But not when it’s my fault I didn’t get more writing done. This is the first Sunday in the last three weeks that I haven’t worked a double shift. Of course, those two doubles didn’t help me too much when it comes to my writing. I should have gotten about twice as much written those shifts. But I didn’t. In fact, I got very little more written. If I even got anything written. What does that mean for today? it means that I will probably be getting five more scenes written today too. I hope that it’s a little bit more than that since it’s a Sunday. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens. After all, five scenes are my average now no matter what day of the week that I write them.
