A Mostly Non-Writing Day
A Mostly Non-Writing Day

Almost forgot to write this blog entry today before the end of it. But I got lucky. I looked at my laptop time. And it read ten thirty-seven. That was three minutes ago. Luckily, I already had my last blog entry in shrink-mode. So, all I had to do was bring it up. And start writing my blog entry for today.

Why am I writing all this? Is it because I have nothing to write about today? That is partially true. I haven’t done too much writing today. But I have done a little bit, though. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been on any short stories. I’m done with that this month. I have been working on my second scriptwriting project, The Problems with Death. At least I have been sort of working on it.

What do I mean by that? It means that I have been working on it. But I haven’t physically written anything. I haven’t advanced on it. At least not yet. Does that mean I’m going to continue working on it after I finish writing this blog entry? The answer to that question is probably no. I did catch on my sleep quite a bit last night. But I still have a lot more to catch up on. So, most likely, I’m going to be going to sleep soon after I finish posting this blog entry for today.

So, why haven’t I gotten more written on my second scriptwriting project today? The normal reason why I don’t get too much writing done on my second day off from work is because of what my brother and I needed to do today. But that isn’t the reason this time. I have had plenty of time to work on it. So, why didn’t I?

I was right again. That doesn’t happen too often with me. Does it. what was I right about? That I only had one thing that needed to be done today. and that didn’t take too long to finish. Unfortunately, it did take about two hours to get it done, though. That gave me plenty of time to work on my writing.

Which I did. As soon as I got home, I took out my laptop and turned it on. And while it was warming up, I decided what I was going to do today. I decided to work on my second scriptwriting project. When I brought up the three documents for this project: the Story Outline, the Scene Outline, and the Script Scene Headings, I noticed several things.

One of those things was where I was at in this project. Unfortunately, I’m about where I thought that I was. With a few scenes into Act Four of my Scene Outline. The other two things I noticed were from my third document. But only one was because of it. I noticed that the Header for this document wasn’t right. Not only was the title for this project not correctly spelled title-wise, but that the Page Numbering wasn’t right either.

It took me a little time to figure that out. Luckily, I didn’t have to do it with the other two documents for this project. I did notice something odd about it though. It didn’t look like it was in Bold Courier Twelve. So, I tried to print it out to see if it was going to do it. When I tried to do that, is when I noticed my third thing. My new printer wasn’t working. It took me quite a while to figure that out. That’s why I haven’t written anything today.
