Worse Than I Expected
Worse Than I Expected

Unfortunately, I was right again when it comes to working on the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project television series. I didn’t feel like doing it yesterday at work. But it’s not for the usual reasons why I don’t. It’s even worse than that. I know. How can it be worse? I didn’t think that it could be. But it was.

It’s worse because of what happened to me the first four hours of my shift when I was at what I call the main gate. I knew that I wouldn’t be able to do any writing. But I did think that I would be able to watch some television or the new Dune movie on my cell phone. Only I couldn’t do that because my earphone connection wasn’t connecting.

Yes, I know that it wasn’t technically where I was at that stopped me from watching anything. But I still blame them because I shouldn’t have been there. If I was at my regular post, I could have done that because I don’t need my earphone there. I do at the main gate, though. Guess what? It’s only me that can’t do that without my earphones. Big surprise. That’s another reason why I blame them.

As a result, that is the reason why I didn’t feel like doing any writing on this project yesterday at work. Of course, I wanted to get at least a few scenes done in those last four hours of my shift. But after I found out I couldn’t watch anything on my cell phone, I knew that I wouldn’t feel like doing it.

That isn’t the only reason why I didn’t do any writing at work yesterday. It was the main one. But it wasn’t the only one, though. I also didn’t do it because it was very busy at both gates yesterday. Don’t know about the main gate. And how busy it gets there on a Saturday. I can’t remember what it was like the last time I was there. But I do know about my regular post. And it was a whole lot busier there than it normally is yesterday.

Today, as far as I know, I’m going to be at my regular post again. At least I think that I am. And I probably am. After all, I knew about yesterday Friday evening while at work. I haven’t gotten a Text like that yet. And I don’t think that I will. That doesn’t mean that I won’t, though. It has happened before when I got it later this morning or just before I get to work. So, it’s still a very good possibility that I will. But I don’t think that I will this time.

If I don’t have another split shift today, I should be able to get at least five scenes written on this project. I would like to get more than five. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens. Whether it’s five, or less, or more, I’m going to get as many of them as I can write today.
