A Little Busier Than Normal

Maybe it’s that time of year. Then again, it may be because it’s getting close to that time of year when it starts getting busier where I work. Even if it’s not because of either one of these, it was very busy at work yesterday. True, it wasn’t that much busier than it normally is for a Saturday. But it was a little bit busier than normal.

As a result, I didn’t get quite as much written yesterday on the first episode of my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I barely got five scenes written. Since it was a Saturday, I should have gotten at least one or two more scenes written for this project. But I didn’t.

It being busy wasn’t the only reason why I didn’t get more written yesterday at work. That may be the main reason why. But it wasn’t the only one. It was also because of my new tablet. And the fact that I wanted to try some of my dictation on it. The last hour of my shift I spent trying to do that. It didn’t work out too well.

If I spent the last hour of my shift trying out my dictation, that means I only wrote seven hours yesterday. Five in seven hours isn’t too bad. It’s still not too good. Especially, for a Saturday. But it wasn’t too bad either. As I wrote above, it should have been a little bit better.

The main reason it wasn’t was because of work. but it wasn’t just how busy it was there. But how much I had to do to make it busy enough to disrupt my writing. Even if it didn’t disrupt it that much. What am I trying to write? I’m trying to write that it was how much time I spend outside of my guard post.

Usually, it’s not too bad. I only spend about an hour a day on Saturday on the outside of my guard post. If I even spend that much time. Yesterday, I spent about twice that amount of time. That’s how busy it was yesterday at work. if it wasn’t quite twice, then it was a very close second to it.

I know that I have been up and down on this blog entry today. But that’s just the way I write them. I write them freehand. Whatever I’m thinking about at the time, I write it. Usually, that means a set pattern to my writing. But sometimes it’s like today. it depends on what I’m writing about. Especially, if I’m writing about more than one thing. Also, like today.

I’m writing about how busy it was at work yesterday. But I’m also writing about my dictation problem too. I have already written about how busy it got yesterday at work. now it’s time to write about my dictation problem. It looks like I’m not going to be able to do it. Mostly, it’s because of my speech problem. But also because of Commands that don’t work for me.
