The Poem
The poem is a hardy friend.
He lets you rant and rave
or sends you to a nook to mend,
your parsing mind to save.

The poem sees a bit of heart,
that needs a voice to speak.
He gives you hope, a place to start,
a nuance, that you seek.

The poem is a wondrous frame
'pon which to build your house.
The walls are furnished much the same
as waltzes by the Strauss.

The poem is a coffee break,
that warms the end of day,
relieving you by the words he takes
as heartfelt things to say.
