The First Half of Episode One
The First Half of Episode OneLast Sunday, and My Full Shift

Early yesterday morning I got a call from my new Site Supervisor. Unfortunately, he is the one who hates me. I thought that this was it. He was calling me to say that I was no longer working there. Maybe the call was for another reason. For the next three hours, I may have dozed off a little. But I came up with several million reasons for that call from him.

When I got up, I called him. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. He did want to ask me if I could do some overtime. But it was for this weekend. That made me feel a lot better. The only problem was I only got about six hours of sleep because of worrying about what was going to happen. Now I was worried that six hours might hurt me. But it didn’t. Usually, if I can get six hours, I’m okay. And yesterday was like that.

After I got to work yesterday, I expected the real shoe to drop. But it didn’t. I worked my normal post. And it was a very good day of writing when it comes to my Water Wars scriptwriting project. That’s because I got the first half of episode one of this project written. Aka one hundred and five single sentences written for this Scene Outline.

I probably could have gotten another twenty of them written. But Wednesdays are the days that my replacement comes in about an hour or so early. Yesterday was no exception. If not for him, I probably would have gotten some more written. As for if it would have been twenty, that I don’t know. But it would have been a lot more than one hundred and five.

A lot of why I got so many single sentences written was because of how busy it got at work yesterday. It was a lot like it used to be. Very busy. But not as busy as it has been the last month or two. Not even close to that busy. Most of it I was able to do inside my guard post too.

True, I did have to go outside my post a few times. But it wasn’t as bad as it has been lately. I just hope that it’s the same today. Not only that it’s at my regular post, but also about how busy it gets today. I’m hoping that it will be a lot like yesterday. If not a little better than that.

If it is like yesterday, then I should be able to finish the second half of episode one. I might even get the Teaser Act of episode two written too. But I’m not going to count on that until it happens. After all, I don’t just have work that may slow me down. I also have my new Site Supervisor and the company that I work for too.
