Barely Fifteen

All I needed to get was fifteen more single paragraphs to end Part One of my Water Wars Story Outline for my scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, that’s all that I got written last Sunday at work. But it should have been more. Maybe even a lot more.

After all, I almost had that many written during the first four hours of my shift last Sunday. Then it happened again. My full shift at my old post became a split shift. The good news is that my last four hours were at my normal post. But the bad news is that they were at my normal post.

Why is that good and bad news? It’s because I have been having a problem at my normal post since a little after eight PM WDC time last Thursday. And it was still going on. Between that and being unexpectedly turned into a split shift, I didn’t feel like doing any writing. I had to force myself to finish writing these fifteen single paragraphs.

The problem wasn’t the only reason why I didn’t get a lot more writing done last Sunday. It may have been the main one. but it wasn’t the only one. I also had my replacement that stopped me from writing more. He came in almost an hour early. So, I wouldn’t have gotten that many more written if I did feel like writing them.

Today, I’m going to be starting Part Two of my movie introduction for this series. I’m not sure how many single paragraphs I’m going to be able to get written today, though. A lot depends on how busy it gets at work and what happens with who I work for. But I’m hoping that I get at least twenty-seven of them written aka the first half of it.
