Too Busy for Any Thinking

It has been a very busy day today for my brother and me. I haven’t had too much time to think about writing. Let alone do any of it. Of course, I’m in limbo when it comes to my short stories. But I haven’t even had the time to think about my scriptwriting projects either.

That’s how busy it has been for us today. It started very early this morning. And it’s been busy almost the whole day. I have had a few minutes here and there to work on my writing. But I haven’t had too much time to do it. That’s how busy it has been today.

Don’t get me wrong. I have had the time to think about my scriptwriting projects a little bit. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the time to pursue them so far. There is plenty of time to think about things while you are going to one place or another. At least most people do.

I do too. But sometimes it's hard for me to think when my brother is talking. And he’s almost always talking. Usually about the same thing over and over again. He does stop talking every so often. But it doesn’t last too long. I just try to ignore it. And think about my writing.

Like today, sometimes that’s all that I get the chance to do. Think about my writing. But I will even take that. After all, thinking about it is the first step in writing it. I just need the time with my laptop or my tablet to physically write it. Today I didn’t until now.

Usually, I would write that this is the first chance that I have gotten to get on my laptop today. That isn’t exactly true today. I haven’t had too much time to get on it. But it hasn’t been long enough to do any writing on anything today. At least not yet I haven’t.

Does that mean I’m going to get some writing done before I go to sleep tonight? Unfortunately, I probably won’t get to do any writing today at all. Why? Because I know that I need to get up very early tomorrow morning. I will probably be going to sleep soon after I post this.

Of course, I still need to write my blog entry for tomorrow on my second blog. But that will probably be a little bit earlier than it usually is because of me getting up so early tomorrow. I could probably do it before I go to work. But I can’t take the chance that I can.
