Writing Time
There's a time to write each day.
It may be morning, noon, or night.
Make some words for best display.
Create some thoughts, and shine some light.

Nothing gives such great distress
as wanting to express my heart,
waiting for these words to bless,
but finding none to help me start.

Then, I find my oft recourse
is striking out to talk about
things I'm thinking now, of course.
It helps me make each verse, no doubt.

Resting helps the mind stay fresh.
So, take a day or two away.
When you're back the words will mesh
into a joy for new display.
