The New Baby
May called the other day to ask if I would watch her new baby she just adopted. Millie is six months old. May needs to be out of town for a few days and needs a sitter. I got ready for my newest charge.
I went to the nearest store and got some supplies. Diapers, wet wipes, some blankets. And a little thing called a ‘pack and play’. It’s like a portable playpen.
I guess I know the basics. You have to keep a baby fed, clean, and happy. Easy enough.
May then arrived with Millie, her 100# Great Dane.
