There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

Despite a Very Busy
First Day Off from Work

It has been a very typical first day off from work. My brother and I had a lot to do today. A lot more than usual. As a result, I didn’t get too much written on my third Outline for the October Prep Challenge. Don’t get me wrong. I did get a little bit done before I started writing this blog entry. It just wasn’t as much as I wanted it to be.

My lack of not being able to do too much writing today on this third Outline wasn’t just because of what my brother and I had to do. It was also because of the third Short Story that I needed to write for this challenge. A Short Story that I did finish today. It’s not a very long one. Only seven hundred and twenty-eight. I don’t think there is a minimum or a maximum of words for these short stories.

Personally, I wanted to write between a thousand to fifteen hundred words for each of these stories. Especially, the first couple of them. And I did that. For this third one, it wasn’t that important. I wanted to still write between those limitations that I set for myself. But I didn’t need to do it. I think that seven hundred and twenty-eight is a good limit for this kind of Short Story. If there is a minimum, I will know about it soon enough.

It only took me a couple of hours to write this Short Story. That’s why I had a little bit of time to continue working on my third Outline for this challenge. I just got over three chapters of this novel done so far. That’s why I will be continuing it after I get done with the blog entry. I don’t know how many more I will get done before I go to sleep tonight. I’m hoping it will be another three or four chapters, though.

Fifteen to twenty single paragraphs shouldn’t take me too long to write. Then again, they might. I shouldn’t be that hard to write that many. But with me showing the parts instead of telling them, it may not be that easy for me to do. Can still do it. I’m just not sure if I can do them before I go to sleep tonight. I think that I can. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.

It’s very important that I get these three or four chapters written before I go to sleep tonight. I only have nine days left before this Outline is due. And I still have almost one hundred and ninety-five single paragraphs left to write. About one hundred and eighty to one hundred and seventy-five if I can get fifteen to twenty done before I go to sleep tonight.
