[Scrooge] promises, “I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”

Ebenezer Scrooge had a miraculous transformation in the book "A Christmas Carol". I don't think mine was quite so dramatic, but since it is a miracle that I'm alive to celebrate Christmas this year, it is more on my mind than ever.
Not just remembering my fellow man, but remembering God gave us such a precious gift in the form of Jesus; who would later become our substitution on the cross - dying so that we might have life ever after. Brings it home to me.
