Twenty-Five is Very Good for a Saturday
Twenty-Five is Very
Good for a Saturday

Overall, I got just over one-fourth of my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual, Story Outline finished earlier today at work. At first, I was a little mad at myself because I wanted it to be about double that, but after looking at it I was wrong again. Twenty-five single paragraphs for a Saturday is very good. At least I think that it is. It may even be great or fantastic.

Why do I think twenty-five is great or fantastic? Because it is. It would be even greater or more fantastic if it was a weekday because those shifts are only seven and a half hours long aka about six hours of writing time, but for a weekend it’s just as good. I was hoping it would be a lot better, but I am very happy that I got so many single paragraphs written earlier today.

If I can get ten to fifteen single paragraphs written on a weekday, then I am happy. I’m also happy if I can do twenty to twenty-five on a weekend shift. So, earlier today was a very good day for me when it comes to writing for this project. Of course, I wanted it to be a whole better than that, but that was wishful thinking on my part. No way I could have done that many.

I’m kind of surprised that I got so many single paragraphs written earlier today at work. That’s because I had a lot of trouble writing some of them. I knew what I wanted to write, but not how to write it. Especially, when it came to keeping the paragraphs within three, four, or five lines depending on what Act that it is and what character it is.

What I’m hoping is that I can get at least twenty to twenty-five more single paragraphs written tomorrow at work. If not a little bit more than that. I should be able to do that for a couple of reasons. One reason is that it’s about ten and a half to eleven hours of writing time. The second reason is that I did it today. If I did it today, there’s no reason why I can’t do it tomorrow.

If I can do about the same as I did today tomorrow, I will be halfway through my single paragraph Story Outline for this project. What does that mean for this Story Outline? It means I probably won’t get it done until about this time next week. The only way around that is if I work on it during my days off from work. I could do that, but not sure if I need to anymore.

Right now, I don’t have any reason why I can’t work on it on my days off. After all, I don’t have any short stories to write this month. The WDC Short Story I could do, but I decided not to do it this month. As for the other Short Story contest that I have been entering monthly, it hasn’t come out yet. This month is almost half over. So, I probably won’t be writing the second one either.

So, I could continue to work on this project during my days off from work, and I might still do that. Then again, I might not. I do have the third and fourth scriptwriting projects that I could continue to work on. Haven’t decided what I’m going to be working on during my days off from work. May have the answer to that question before my days off begins. Then again, maybe I won’t.
