365 Days of Blessing _ January 14, 2023

Dear God,

I am convinced, as I read the Prophets and the adventures of Abraham, that whatever the mind of man thinks it thinks, without the Spirit of Wisdom and Truth, its representative, the tongue, always reveals what deceptions the heart is holding. The plans may seem to be for peace, but those who hate peace cannot hold back their inner plots for war. Ultimately the tongues of the “peace haters” are missiles that shred the lovers of peace.

As an American, I know most Americans love war. The lawlessness that has overtaken the land demonstrates that our citizens are against those who love peace. A nation can't murder 63+ million babies and say they love peace. As a nation we aren't just in a war with one another, we are at war with You, O Lord.

So, today Lord, I repent for my people, my nation, and my fellow citizens of this Constitutional Republic, forgive us of our sin, and our rebellion against Your law of love and Your precepts of Truth as taught by Your Son Jesus. Please restore the families of America to love peace and hate evil. In Jesus Name. Amen.

PSALM 120

What shall be given to you, and what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue?

A warrior’s sharp arrows, with glowing coals of the broom tree!

Too long have I had my dwelling among those who hate peace.

I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war!

Please have mercy on America and restrain Your wrath and the wrath of the Lamb, for just a little more time, that fewer people will perish in the judgment to come. Thank You.
