More Words Than I Thought
More Words Than I Thought

The above blog title is true. I thought that I only had about five hundred words left in my WDC Short Story for this month, but it wasn’t. Maybe for part two of this Short Story, but I still have around seven hundred more words still left to write before I finish this Short Story.

Of course, my total words left yesterday was based on my Short Story being about fifteen hundred words instead of about two thousand words. So, in a way, the last two days are the same when it comes to this Short Story. However, I look at it I’m still around seven hundred words from the end of this Short Story.

Unfortunately, this Short Story isn’t going to be finished today. I was hoping that it would be, but it won’t. After all, this has not been a typical Wednesday aka my third day off from work. Normally, I get to lie back and relax the day I go back to work. But I couldn’t do that today.

From very early this morning, before the sun was even up, my brother and I had a few things that needed to be done today. Unfortunately, it took us almost the whole day to do them. as a result, I didn’t get too much writing done today. Don’t get me wrong. I did get some writing done. Just not as much as I thought it would be.

I wanted to get this WDC Short Story finished today. So, that I could start working on my second Short Story for this month, Living in a Black Hole. With only five more days off aka weekdays left to finish this Short Story for this month, and the last day of those five days is the last day of the month. So, in a way, I only really have four days to finish this second Short Story.

Unfortunately, it’s worse than that. After all, I haven’t finished my WDC Short Story for this Month yet. What that means is that I really only have four days to finish my second Short Story for this month. Can it be done? Yes, it can be done. The big question is can I do it?

Of course, I can do it, but will I? That’s one question that will have to wait a couple of weeks before I can answer it. It’s not going to be easy, but I think that I will do it. At least I hope that I can. It will all depend on if I can get the WDC Short Story finished this Monday aka my first day off from work.

When I could take my laptop to work, getting these short stories finished would be that much of a problem. I could either work on them when I wasn’t working, or I could do them at work. Only I can’t do that now. I only have my days off to work on them now, and that’s not always easy to do.

Not only do I have my short stories to finish when I’m not at work, but I also have what I have handwritten at work to enter into my laptop. So, after work probably won’t happen with my short stories being written. I will lucky if I can get my handwriting entered into my laptop on those days.
