Sometimes
not winning feels like losing.
Tough decisions
mean sacrifices.

We all make choices.
We all make sacrifices.

No one can do everything.

Be the best mother you can be.
Be the best wife you can be.
You are already the best friend I could ask for.

Your pen already left a mark on this world.
But a novel can never be cherished
the way a wife and a mother are.

Parenthood isn't about soccer games,
hide and seek or baseball.
It's about love
and sacrifice.

And understanding that
is winning.
