365 Days of Blessing _ March 19, 2023

Dear God,

I love Your Church. You know I am a Church man. I was born in the Church. I grew up in Your Church. I have loved her as if she were my dearest of sisters sometimes. At times, when I turned my back on her and scoffed at her winsome beauty, I felt dead inside and knew I had forsaken my dearest of sisters. But You knew Lord. You knew I would be back to be at one heart with my sister the Church once more. Thank You. I set my mind and heart in worship this week to do something kind and reverent and generous for Your Church. I pray that we, as Your Body, would be more exceedingly holy this week than ever before, and You would come for Your Bride. We are expectantly waiting. We long to see You face to face!

PHILIPPIANS 2:1-4

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,

complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than your selves.

Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others.

You O Lord, took me to the water of my transformation and the devil was waiting outside to do his best to desecrate what You redeemed. Merciful Father, I let him. But every church building I passed along my miserable journey away from You and Your Holy Assembly, reminded me You alone were my hope in this Life, and the Church, in the form of Debra K, came after me. And thanks to Your servant J, receiving You with her whole heart, I am Your Church man once more. Blessed be Your Holy Name. Thank You for new life today and always! In Jesus' Name. Amen.
