No Pen and Paper for Me!

No pen and paper for me

Some writers
Are old school
Preferring to write
With pen and paper.

But ever since
I first started
Writing down my thoughts,

55 some years ago
As a young lad
Turning 16.

I found I liked typing
My wild poetic imagining
My strange short stories
Often coming
out of my movie-like dreams.

Later I started using
the computer
in my 30’s
and until now
almost 40 years later.

the computer
allows me to revise it
And fix it up.

Except for when my computer
Revolts and loses my writing
Just because my computer hates me.

But the main reason
For avoiding pen and paper
Is I can’t read
my handwriting!
