Mia Culpa

What a fool I am!
I screwed up again.
How many times
can I make the same
          friggin' mistake?

I vow to change,
I make amends,
I ask for mercy,
I commit,
I take steps forward,
I pray.
I start over.

And here I am once more,
on my knees
begging forgiveness.
