Jots and Tittles and other Random Things

BCoF - April 11th

I start this out by saying, I say the following phrase a lot:

If I only had a brain.... Granted, the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz may have owned the phrase originally, but there you have it.

There are times I get caught up in the "If Only" trap. I call it a trap, because it doesn't change the present, and it doesn't change what has gone on before.

I've gotten caught up in the following If Only's: (Just being honest, here, hoping it's not TMI

If only I had graduated from school instead of getting married.
If only I had gone into the military like I wanted to.
If only I hadn't had my kids at such a young age.
If only I hadn't gotten married (both times )

You can spend a lot of time going down these rabbit holes...and the only thing that happens is that you get exhausted by doing all of that pondering. The things that have happened in my life are the things that have shaped me. I am who I am because of the choices that I made. I can only go on from here.

That is my two cents' worth on this...I am happy to share more, if someone else wants to know more...LOL
