365 Days of Blessing _ April 16, 2023

Dear God,

Holy Father God, please forgive me of my sin. My idle words, endless meaningless chatter, fabrications and deceit. Forgive me for the lust in my heart and in my actions. Please forgive me for my lack of discipline and sorrow. Cleanse me of all sin Lord. Cleanse me of all unrighteousness and restore unto me the joy of my Salvation. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Thank You.

Nehemiah 8:1-3

And all the people gathered as one man into the square before the Water Gate. And they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses that the Lord had commanded Israel. So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, both men and women and all who could understand what they heard, on the first day of the seventh month. And he read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and those who could understand. And the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law.

Your servant Ezra, the scribe and priest, reminds me of the mission and call upon my life. Help me Lord when my focus dims and I am distracted. Thank You for reminding me of my mortality and the short time I have left. You are a Good Father. Thank You. Amen.
