365 Days of Blessing _ April 24, 2023

Dear God,

The simple truth is that You provide everything. Not exactly for the ease of those whose heart is set on the kingdom, but to meet every need. There is a limit to how much understanding a person can bear in this teaching. The wants, needs, and sources of “more” are all around. The stream of wants can easily be fed by any amount of work a man desires to engage in, but is it a wedge between knowing worldly pursuits and knowing more of You, the Father who tends to everything as it pleases You? It seems it is not only a pursuit, it is a building of a structure to divide the heart intent of a person from having a greater dependence on the Creator of all things. Where I am guilty of this O Lord, please forgive me. Thank You.

Luke 12:28-31

But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you O you of little faith!

And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried.

For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Instead, seek His kingdom and these things will be added to you.

I can have a thousand reasons to pursue my own course of action, but there is only one reason to not do it – It Will offend You, my dearest Father in Heaven. Your will be done Lord. Always. Your will be done. Amen.
