365 Days of Blessing _ April 27, 2023

Dear God,

You are still a burning fire, as You are aligned against Your enemies. They are my enemies. You have a gentle, merciful nature, but Your appearance can be a heart stopping experience. But the righteous, defined as despising gain from all oppressive tactics; as ones separating from those who shed blood and do evil; We are set in a place where You are not a destructive force, but rather a fortress and a rock against our enemies. You are our defense. You are our supply of everything good and pure.

Isaiah 33:14-16

The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless: “Who among us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?”

He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil, he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure.

I will praise You, O Most High God. I will hold nothing back. My fingers will say the words from a devoted keyboard, that clacks against the silence in the tune in which I dictate. You are the God of the writer and the scribe, the rich and the poor. You see, hear and feel mankind's devotion and You distain all who mock and scorn You and Your truth. You are exalted today and forever more Lord. For You are good! Amen.
