365 Days of Blessing _ May 18, 2023

Dear God,

There is a burning in our hearts as Holy Spirit opens to us the Scriptures, the amazing word written by You, O God. The truth spoken within us from the moment of creation to the moments before Jesus’ return. Then there is the moment of breaking bread with Jesus. We are transformed from unknowing to knowing in that moment. Our eyes are opened to You - God and Father - Creator and King, and we are drawing closer to You, more than ever before.

Luke 24:30-32 & 35

When He was at table with them, He took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.

And their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him. And He vanished from their sight.

They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while He talked to us on the road, while He opened to us the Scriptures?”

Then they told what had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

The urgency to be immersed in Your presence O Lord is burning. There is a fire in my belly, like never before. I will not quench this fire. I will burn with the hope of being what You say, knowing what You know, accepting all that You desire for my heart mind and soul. In all this I will worship You, most holy, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Amen
