June Light Inspired

365 Days of Blessing _ May 22, 2023

Dear God,

To be in Your will, glorious Father, is to know Your power. Now I know Your determination, by way of Your word, to create everything that is. You bypassed the usual manner. That is what man has imagined.

A bang. A single cell. A microbe. Then, in time, complexed creatures, trees, seeds, bushes, flowers... All emerge over...time? The usual way? No!

There isn't enough time. It was Your own will that established the purpose of mankind; and then we populated the earth. You made of Your own will, children. I am called a child of God as I believe. I only need believe. Not in terms of the fairy tales, or myths, or even determined knowing, but believe in the You as my Father who chose me.

You came to some who refused to believe. But look at me Father! I believe!

I Believe in Your way of redemption. I believe in the power of the cross to make all things new. You spoke. Your Word. Your Word made life be! Your Son gave me a life worth living in You. Thank You!

John 1:11-13

He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him.

But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God

who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but God.

I am glad for the redeeming power of God’s own choice. He made me. He made me His child. I will worship Him with the affection of a child, trusting, believing and enjoying the love He gives to me beyond measure.
