You
Came to me
In a dream

For eight years
Haunting my dreams
And my life

Then one day
You walked off a bus
In Korea

Entering my life
Becoming my wife
That was the date
I met my fate

Always proclaimed
They are new
And improved

Usually the only thing new
Is the price

The package stays the same
But you get half as much
You get less for your money
Shrinkflation they call it

About UFO’s

They now say
That there are unidentified
Cylinder objects
Everywhere

They deny that
There are aliens
But I don’t believe them

I used to love

Chocolate
Cookies
Ice cream

But at age 67
With failing teeth
Pre-diabetic blood sugar levels

I have had to give up
Sweet things
Except for the sweetest thing of all
My sweet, lovely wife.
