Trans Phobia Brochette

aaabb cccdd

why the furor over bathrooms
nothing but right-wing gloom and doom
who cares who uses the master bed room ?

a trans man is now a woman
He is no longer a true man

conservatives say there are no trans
progressives say we are all trans
there is no need for bathroom bans

Do the tans need to show their BC
To show that they are now a she?

The Briolette is a stanza of five lines introduced in Viola Berg's Pathways for the Poet. It is constructed with a rhyming triplet followed by a rhyming couplet composed in iambic tetrameter (8 syllables), as described and demonstrated in the following link: https://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/briolette/ .

i don't understand the trans bathroom furor. In Florida is now illegal to use a public bathroom that does not correspond to your birth certificate sex, Anyone can call the cops if they suspect that someone is using the wrong bathroom. Being in Florida is just a matter of time before some Karen calls the cops on a bearded man using the woman's room or settles the manner by shooting him or her.
