Gentle Day
Gentle day, a place to hide,
before my job begins.
Feel emotions deep inside
finding ways to win.

Sit and rest upon the couch.
Write a poem new.
Find emotions in the "pouch"
of tenderhearted you.

Gentle day seems lonely now,
but that's a space of peace.
Little thoughts bring hope somehow,
and tender blest release.
