Most of the Work Week
Most of the Work Week

Hopefully, it’s not going to take the whole work week to finish these two short stories, but it may take most of it. First thing first, my WDC Short Story. That takes priority. It must be done first. Once that’s done, I will start working on my second Short Story for this month.

I still have seven sections/parts for this WDC Short Story, and with only six hours tomorrow morning to finish it, I know I’m not going to get it done for several reasons. One reason is seven parts/sections is about six hours is very unlikely that I will be able to get done. True, that’s about one every forty-five minutes. Give or take a little, but it’s not that simple.

Even while I’m writing, I’m still at work. Not only do I need to watch the cameras every few minutes, but I also need to check them out full screen once an hour. I also need to document it on both a cell phone and they have to be handwritten. Speaking of handwriting, that’s another reason why six hours isn’t enough.

If I could continue writing my WDC Short Story on my laptop, I probably could write a part/section in about a half hour to forty-five minutes for each one of them. unfortunately, I can’t do that at this post either. Everyone else posted at this location probably can, but I can’t. I have to handwrite them. then transcribe them to my laptop after I get home from work.

With my scriptwriting Scene Outlines, I don’t need to do a numeric count of my single paragraphs. Just the number of lines in those single paragraphs. Only with a Short Story, I can’t do that. Instead of lines per paragraph, it’s a word count per section/part. That word count is about two hundred words.

Each part/section in my WDC Short Story is about two hundred words. I’m not sure about my second Short Story because I haven’t gotten to do too much writing on it. Except for remembering the storyline associated with this Short Story. I have done some work on it besides the title and the title description, but not too much of it so far.

My WDC Short Story is kind of the opposite. I have already written the first three sections/part for it, but because of the seven more parts/sections it going to be harder for me to write because I’m in the middle so to speak, instead of at the beginning like my second Short Story.

As a result, it’s probably going to take me six hours to get my WDC Short Story written tomorrow. It shouldn’t take another six hours on Friday to finish it, but it may take most of it. It all depends on how many I can get written tomorrow at work. I’m hoping to only have one or two more sections/parts.
