Christmas again

The joy of Christmas
leaps back to July.
cold'sgone, sun shines bright.

Chocolate cake sitting snug
among gifts' galore
I spy a pack of peppermint,ever my favorite.

Outside, the wind moves gentle,
sings of love, not of the eerie
signaling hope and a welcome change
for folks of the earth one more time.

Santa speeds showering blessings,
"the likes you've never known".
