Colors
My world has burst into a thousand colors
the air turned fragrant with countless flowers.
The promise of love and happiness forever
gleamed in my eyes and in my life.

They say the grey of fall is depressive
No, not so, says my heart, drenched in
sunshine soft, floating on the windy
wings heading to the eastern ranges

standing sentinel to this small coastal
town of calm and serene southern side.
Nature relaxes filling me with the hope
that things are never static in the scheme

of creative regeneration, the ever evolving
gift of life and its many moods and marvels.
The arid land of the night before fares forth
into a feast of incredible beneficence bringing

solace and tranquility to my body and soul
reminding me of the unexpected turns of luck
and luminescence brought on by a Hand
Invisible, incredible, gracious and grand.
