Old But New Poems Week…

The Wall Called You

It’s just me
playing handball
against the wall called you.
I throw
at a brick facade.
It bounces back to me.

You’d think I’d get tired of it/Some sort of game.

Should’ve realized
you don’t have arms
for game I hurl.

Really not the wall’s fault
it’s no fun.
