Finished, But Not Created Yet

This has not been a typical first day off from work aka a Monday. It’s worse than that. From very early this morning until the middle of the afternoon my brother and I have been busy doing things that needed to get done today. As a result, I didn’t think I was going to be able to get my WDC Short Story done today.

I wasn’t even sure that I would be getting it done by this Wednesday. That would have been my sixth day for getting this Short Story finished. Luckily, I was wrong about all of that. Not only did I get it finished, but I had time to create a Shameless Plus and a Please Review today.

At least I created them on my laptop. I haven’t posted them to WDC yet, but I will do that tomorrow morning when I get up. Also created a Notebook entry for this Short Story too. Like my Shameless Plug and my Please Review, I haven’t created them on WDC yet. Will also do that tomorrow morning. I’m just happy that I got it done today.

When I first woke up this morning, I didn’t think that I would be getting it done today. I thought that it would be lucky if I got it done tomorrow. That way, I could create it on Wednesday at the latest. Now it looks like I’m going to be creating it tomorrow instead of Wednesday.

That’s good news. At least I think that it is. It means I will be able to start writing my second Short Story this month. The sooner I get it started the sooner I will get it finished. I hope that I can get it done as fast as I did for my WDC Short Story. It’s the same theme as my WDC Short Story, but it’s also different too.

Since I am writing two short stories this month, I set aside six days off each to get them finished. I thought that I was going to be lucky if I got this WDC Short Story finished within my six days off frame. Especially, after I woke up this morning.

As it turned out, it didn’t take me as long as I thought that it was going to take me to finish writing this first Short Story. Don’t ask me how I did it because I don’t have an answer to that unofficial unwritten question. All that I do know is that when I started writing the last half of this Short Story, I couldn’t stop until I finished it.

What’s next? The next thing I need to do is create it on WDC. Then I can plug it, ask for a review, and notebook it. Once I do that, I can start working on my second Short Story for this month. two days earlier than I planned on starting it. That’s more good news, isn’t it?
