Revenge
Vengeance whispers in my ear,
a pleasant hum
keeping my rage banked
to smouldering embers.

Visions of karma,
hand delivered,
titillate me,
distracting from plans and strategies.

Cross me,
pay the penalty,
face the consequences...
and this dance has barely begun.

No mercy.
No sympathy.
No sweet shoulder level angel
to advise
that two wrongs
don't make a right.

Your fate is sealed.
