This is a collection of poems told from fictional view points. They are not about me.

Infuriatingly Extraordinary
A snide remark
to complement
the sneer you wear
like a fur coat
that you think
makes you beautiful
but really
engenders disgust.
You hold your approval
out of reach
like a tantalising carrot
I'm supposed to bray for,
all the while
knowing
you'll never grant it.
My style, my voice,
the fact that I don't fit in
the pretty box which you assigned me,
or all of the above, hmm?
But tell me, love, how
is such passionate fury
                                    aroused
by someone so beneath your notice.
Jealous, much?
