Through The Lens

A landscape painted in
blushing rose pinks and
shades of peach and
pumpkin orange as
the sun slowly sinks below
the horizontal skyline.

A sumptuous buffet of berries
flung across a wooden table,
a feast for the eyes
in raspberry and maroon.

Sunlight shattered into sparkling
rays by beads of dew
on damp petals.

That tired, satisfied smile from
a bride whose face hurts
from beaming...

Capturing moments,
freezing memories
to be cherished
for lifetimes.
